We are pleased to announce that It's P Foundation, Inc. is a proud member of Candid, one of the most influential nonprofit organizations in the world. This strategic move will allow us to expand our impact on issues to sustain mental health in our communities and reach to more people in need, including potential funders. Additionally, as an active member, we have been awarded our first two badges, “Seals of Transparency”, Bronze and Silver, catapulting us to a new level of participation in the global non-profit market.

Who is Candid – GuideStar?

Candid is the premier destination for millions of tax-exempt and other religious organizations recognized by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS in USA). They help nonprofit organizations like It’s P to be more effective and efficient by connecting people who want to create a positive impact in the world with the resources they need to do it.

GuideStar, as part of Candid, assigns “Transparency Seals,” a way to endorse the transparency and accountability of registered organizations to help them to be more visible. Funders therefore have access to the Foundation Directory and turn to GuideStar to verify and research organizations that are aligned with their missional activities. It's P with the recently obtained Bronze and Silver seals, is now part of that Directory with more than 1.8 million non-profit organizations worldwide.

Why this matters?

According to data provided by the Candid platform, each year millions of corporate, government and other private organizations invest trillions of dollars in sponsorships to support nonprofit organizations around the world. These organizations have access to the most complete data and knowledge about the social sector, making it possible for organizations like It's P to connect with financial resources and with people with the same mission, impacting our communities in a positive way and to improve their quality of life.

To find funding opportunities: As part of the Foundation Directory and earning the Bronze and Silver Transparency Seals, It’s P is now more visible in the nonprofit sector. This will make it easier for potential funders to learn about It's P's work and mission and determine if it is a good fit for their funding priorities.

To Expand our productivity: It’s P’s consolidated operations will be enhanced through the pursuit of new opportunities and training on the Candid platform to potentially expand our mission to collaborate with other non-profit organizations with visions similar to ours in favor of creating new initiatives towards mental, physical, emotional and social wellbeing.

To impact the communities: With It's P Foundation's ability to create new service opportunities, resource collaboration and additional support, our organization can reach more people to provide wellness services tailored to their needs. 

To promote philanthropy: It 's P joins Candid's network of more than 230 charity websites, programs and apps, including Facebook, Network for Good, Salesforce and CrowdRise, among others to say “present” for opportunities for community engagement and shared value.

It’s P Foundation will continue to operate as an independent entity, and we will additionally have access to the resources and support of Candid. This will allow us to focus on what we do best: helping people live better lives by providing opportunities for educational and learning resources on mental health and wellbeing.
